The JAS 39 Gripen fighter is a generation 4.5 manufactured by the Swedish aerospace company Saab.
This is a list of all the accidents in June 2008. In addition to other incidents documented five Gripen crashed two of them before delivery to the Air Force, of Sweden, a prototype production equipment and three in service with the Swedish Air Force.

February 1989
In February 2, 1989, the first prototype was 39-1 JAS flight crashed in sixth, while attempting to land in the Link? Ping. The accident was filmed in a now famous recording by a team Aktuellt Sveriges Television. The pilot, Lars R? Destr? H, remained in the plane fall and miraculously escaped with only a broken elbow and some other injuries minor. The accident is the result of pilot induced oscillation (PIO). On August 8, 1993, JAS 39A Gripen production (serial number 39-102) crashed in the central island of Stockholm, L? ngholmen near l '? The status of flight at the time of discharge is 750 m altitude, angle of flight? 75 degrees, the speed of 350 kmh, the angle of attack? 8 degrees, and the load? 1.5 g.

On 1 June 2005, a JAS 39A Gripen (serial No. 39-184) from Airwing Kallinge F 17 when serving as a target in a combat exercise in dogs, apparently failed to obey the orders of the pilot, LtCol Axel Nilsson. After trying to regain control slowly descending aircraft, the pilot thrown from the plane and landed safely parachute.
